I have experienced this bug for several months... until now! After completely uninstalling and then installing 2.0.28, the widget locations now updating at the granular level.
Sorry guys for the late acknowledgement. I don’t know whether 2.0.25.1 on its way helps, but if it doesn’t, then I’ll review next week.
Hi there, I'm on 2.0.26 and back in Queenstown. But my weather widget is still showing Kingswell, which is my home suburb.
I am having the same issue with my Samsung S25 Ultra. My weather widget does not update my location, however the app updates perfectly fine. I am currently in Queenstown, but Kingswell remains on the weather widget.
I'm now on a new phone (Pixel 11 Pro), back with Nova Launcher, and v. 2.0.30 and, for me, the widget location is updating properly at the moment.
