What happens if you toggle the notification off and back on again?
Still the same 42° despite using a very different location now. And I cannot get back to my actual location as the orange line is still moving.

No, the 42 degrees is just wrong. I'm working on this right now. There should be another update tonight. I can't verify it though until you get your hands unfortunately.
For whatever reason, I'm seeing correct/reasonable details now. Still on 2.0.25.1. Not sure if I rebooted my phone, did anything that caused it to show more detail, or if it just happened.
It can correct itself as it does periodic updates. That said, 2.0.26 should make it more reliable in general.
I've just updated to 2.0.26. The previously saved locations are visible and switching to them immediately loads the new weather data. The notification is still correct. Happy days! Thanks for your persistence in getting these issues fixed.
2.0.26 should improve — if not fix — this. If there is a problem getting the temperature, it will state so clearly now too.
