Appy Weather 2.0 is now backward compatible all the way back to Android 8+. This should have zero impact on existing upgraded users who were on Android 15+. The version of Appy Weather 2 older Android users will be upgrading is significantly improved compared to what early adopters had, so I’m hopeful there will be less issues to deal with (: Also, the following smaller — relatively speaking — items:

Improvements

• Timeline more compact, especially today’s cards which are now spaced less further apart (I think more similar to how it was in 1.0).

• When there are <= 12 hours left today, the chart on today’s Day screen should look much nicer (and is different to the bar style). I will look at making it possible to default to this style if you prefer for all days, including today even if there’s more than 12 hours to go, in a future update. Again, that would make it more similar to before, but I think there’s merit in having the new way as well as old (full 24-hour chart if you want to see every hour/the whole day, and less busy line chart for a summary i.e. important points in a day).

Fixes

• Min value should show below max value on the section header for the today Day screen (like it does on other days) when you select different data points.

• No empty rows on comparison sheet on Apple Weather.

• Decreasing value in comparison sheet of today v tomorrow is now in the correct font.

• Potential fix for tapping on your current location on the Locations screen not doing anything.

Also, some more crash stability improvements.
