2.1.34
Improvements
-
Smart subscription notifications should be delivered more reliably.
-
If you have increased your system display and/or text size, app UI should be more resilient. To begin with, unfortunately have had to cap max-text-size to 110% the default, but based on user feedback will consider making step-by-step improvements to enable bigger text sizes without causing it compromising layout integrity and text legibility.
-
Star icon when you receive a subscription notification is smaller, therefore more consistently sized with other system tray icons.
-
Onboarding streamlined so you can go through it quicker.
Fixes
-
The comparison displayed on your Timeline between today and tomorrow’s temperature difference will accurately compare the latter versus today’s overall high (and not the high from the current hour onwards).
- Also corrected across the UX whenever we compare values between days, such as on the Comparison sheet or in notifications. If we don’t have data on a full day, then we don’t misleadingly refer to incomplete hour data for a day.
-
Several non-translated strings related to precipitation were incorrectly showing in German, and have now been translated to all supported languages.
-
If you have specified specific days in the week for a smart subscription, then you should only receive notifications on those days.
- User should no longer be able to de-select all days when setting up a smart subscription.
-
A lot of optimisations to help your notifications and widgets work much more reliably, and for background updates to cause significantly less battery drain.
